Accreditation
MIDDLE STATES COMMISSION ON HIGHER EDUCATION
USU was accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) in 1984 and most recently re-accredited in 2013. Among the Instructional Sites within the Postgraduate Dental College, MSCHE recognizes the 59th Dental Training Squadron at JBSA-Lackland, TX, location of the Air Force Postgraduate Dental School, as a Branch Campus of USU with other educational sites recognized as additional locations.
ADA COMMISSION ON DENTAL ACCREDITATION
All postdoctoral general dentistry education (Advanced Education in General Dentistry 1- and 2-year, Advanced General Dentistry Education Program in Orofacial Pain) and advanced specialty education (Endodontics, Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology, Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, Periodontics, and Prosthodontics) programs affiliated with the PDC are accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA).
